I just noticed that one of our employees terminated last year and we forgot to notify you. What happens with the premiums we have paid? Can they be refunded to us?

Terminations should be submitted as soon as possible once an employee has left your employment. Notifications should be sent within 31 days to prevent claims from being paid or future premium being charged. Most insurance carriers will refund up to 3 months’ worth of premium, although you should refer to your insurance contract to confirm.
